NHL takes action. Preds lose a man for Game Three

“The National Hockey League announced today that Nahville Predators’ forward Alexander Radulov has been suspended for one game for a hitting-from-behind incident involving San Jose forward Steve Bernier in Western Conference Quarterfinal game #182 in Nashville, April 13.

The incident occurred at 4:44 of the second period. Radulov was assessed a major penalty for boarding and a game misconduct.Radulov and Forsberg

Radulov will miss Game 3 of the Western Conference Quarterfinal, Monday, April 16 at San Jose. He will be eligible to return for Game 4, April 18 at San Jose.”

What does this mean to us? The Sharks will have Game Three with the hottest Predator so far these playoffs watching from the stands. The NHL has finally taken some action, but I think they went the wrong direction. Either way, the Preds will be down a man for Game 3.

  1. I don’t know if you watched the Penguins, Senators game but after the second period they were talking about that hit and hits from behind in general and Brett Hull was very upset about them. Not just that one but in ALL of them, and I couldn’t agree more. The point of the game is to have your best players on the ice and if they keep getting hurt because of stupid hits then it is only hurting the league.
