The Silver Bullet

Cal-Hi: An Improbable Victory

A close friend and skipper has found his way to the playoffs for the first time and it deserves mention here. The Santa Clara High School Bruins have stumbled, yet confidently into the CCS playoffs for Softball. Now, they are a ten seed, facing off against a seven seed, BUT they just may ave the tools to put together a run here in the post season. Skipper John Rahbar behind a solid starting squad have quietly put together a 16-11 campaign and will face off against N. Monterey Co. HS on Wednesday at 6:00.  The Bruins have had a great run through the El Camino division of the Santa Clara Valley League and finished second in their division. If they should advance would face their arch-rival Fremont in the Quarters.

Here’s to the Bruins and a possible Quarter-berth.

Bruins make the CCS division II playoffs.
